Well hello!
I’m a small-town mom + wife who has very little hobbies and reads a lot of (sad girl) books

My creative journey officially started in 2016 when I graduated from Prairie College with a diploma in Digital Media. Originally I focused on photography and a bit of videography, but since becoming a mom and needing a more flexible schedule (while still flexing my creative muscle) I decided to dive into web design (with some social media managing as well.) I love working with small businesses and entrepreneurs to create site that feel like them and is an accurate depiction of their brand.

Other than photography, and designing websites, I also enjoy pilates, going for long walks, reading (mostly sad) novels, baking, and spending time in the sun. In the summer I am outside as much as possible because in the winter I am inside as much as possible.
I have travelled to a few countries and in 2019 Trevor and I explored Italy. We want to start making travel more of a priority, especially with a kid. I believe we have so much to learn from other cultures and I want our son to have every opportunity to learn those same lessons.

Trevor and I when we were both living in Calgary in 2017, we got married after less than a year of dating, and are celebrating our fifth wedding anniversary this year. It’s true what they say, that when you know you know, and we knew <3
In 2020 we welcomed our son into the world and life has never been so full. Being home with him, watching him play and letting him learn is my favourite thing in this world and it’s the most important job I will ever have. I love nothing more than being a mom and spending (most of) my days with him.

Two years ago I really got back into reading. My favourite genre is contemporary fiction and translated lit. My favourite book currently is “Normal People” by Sally Rooney, I highly recommend!
The coolest place I’ve been to was Tibet in 2016 with my Digital Media class. We got to spend a night at Everest basecamp…I truly think I will never do anything that cool ever again.
I was a competitive swimming in junior high and some of high school.
My most prized possession as a child was a Molly doll (from Big Comfy Couch) and I still have her.
Dirty Dancing and You’ve Got Mail are tied for being my favourite movie, I can’t decide, they’re both fantastic.
My first car was a yellow 2007 Volkswagen Golf and I loved that thing dearly. Thankfully Trevor and I were together at the time of it’s departure from my life, or else I would’ve been heartbroken (maybe slightly dramatic, but I loved that thing!)
